By creating a new customer account with the Sun Prairie Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Account Creation
To create an account, you must provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information, including your password, and for all activities that occur under your account. Only individuals residing in the household can be listed on your account.
2. Refund Policy
Programs
All participant program cancellation requests must be received in writing a minimum of five (5) days prior to the start of the program to receive a refund. No refunds will be given with less than five (5) days’ notice. There will be a $10 withdrawal fee deducted from any refunds. Programs and activities that cost $10 or less are non-refundable. Fees will not be prorated for registering after a program has begun. Full refunds are issued if Sun Prairie Parks, Recreation and Forestry cancels a program. No refunds or credits are issued for individual missed classes. Credits on account are available upon request and are still subject to a $10 withdrawal fee. To request a cancellation, please email rec@cityofsunprairie.com. If you need to cancel due to a medical reason, call 608-837-3449.
NOTE: Cancellations due to weather are not subject to a refund, as every effort will be made to offer an alternative.
Account Credit Terms
Expiration of Credits: All account credits will expire on December 31 of the current calendar year. Any unused credits will automatically be removed from your account at the end of the year and will be donated to our scholarship fund. We encourage you to use your credits before this date to maximize their value. Please note that account credits cannot be refunded or returned to the original form of payment. Once the credits are added to your account, they can only be used for future purchases or services, prior to December 31 of the current calendar year, and cannot be converted back into cash or
refunded.
Facility Reservations
All reservation cancellations must be made by request to the Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department office in writing or in person by 4:30 pm at least ten (10) days prior to the scheduled event. No refunds will be given with less than 10 days' notice. There will be a $20 withdrawal fee deducted from any refunds. Full refunds are issued if Sun Prairie Parks, Recreation and Forestry cancels a reservation. Credits on account are available upon request and are still subject to a $20 withdrawal fee. To request a cancellation, please email rec@cityofsunprairie.com.
NOTE: Cancellations due to weather are not subject to a refund.
3. Non-Refundable Items
The following items are non-refundable:
Family Aquatic Center admission fees and season passes
WPRA discount tickets
Flex fitness pass
Pre-purchased goods or services
Merchandise
Non-resident charges
Credit card service fees
4. Photograph Policy
For promotional purposes, we may photograph our activities and participants. Photos may be used in flyers, brochures, our website, or on social media. If you do not wish to have your or your child's photo taken, please notify the office at the time of registration by emailing rec@cityofsunprairie.com.
5. Gender
The Sun Prairie Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department recognizes that not all individuals identify with the gender assigned at birth or may identify as a gender other than male or female. Participants are encouraged to register for programs based on the gender with which they identify.
6. Non-Discrimination Policy
The Sun Prairie Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, gender, national origin, religion, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or any other status protected by applicable federal, state or local law in the provision of services.
7. Modification of Terms
The Sun Prairie Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of your account constitutes acceptance of any modified terms.
